Thank you everyone - my family, friends, supporters - especially my husband Nick and children Samantha and Tyjon. We gave this campaign everything we had and we ran a positive campaign. We heard from voters all over the county who supported our efforts. We came up short today, but we refused to compromise our values. I urge you to support the Republican candidate in the fall.

I will continue working hard as a Portage City Councilwoman, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting me. God Bless.

To register to vote you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age by election day, and a resident of Michigan and the city or township where you are applying to vote.  You may register to vote at the Office of the City Clerk or any Michigan Secretary of State branch office.  You may also register to vote by mail and can download an application from the Michigan Secretary of State.
